This is gorgeous. Do you know where she got the silk, it is beautiful and obviously very well suited for embroidery. I find it difficult to get silks that stand up well to embroidery on wool.

I bougt the the silk from a re-enactor, who has herited a huge sack of silks! They come from an old shop and there are quite many nice colours.
The dark green is from the shop called Vuorelma, it sells materials for old finnish "national dresses"?. No idea what that´s in english :)
I bought all they had, but mys friend has plenty for sale.
If you wish and have some ideas of the colours, I can get them for you.
