Any good suppliers?
I'm trying to get to the 21st century and start shopping my embroidery supplies from the internet. Do you know any reliable places where one can buy good silk and gold threads?
I got some silk at the handweaver studio in London, but I don't know if they sell the silk also over the net...
besides the handweaver studio I haven't bought any silk yet...
concerning gold - I only bought some 'gold thread' with a little bit real gold in it in Helsinki (Rauno gave me the shop address - but the gold thread easily brakes and is not nice to handle...) and some fake gold thread I like to work with from "Coats" - I can show you the shops when you visit Vienna gain :)
...but besides that I am also still looking for good silk and gold thread sources...

Hedgehog Handworks has a wide selection of silk threads and even metallic and real gold thread.
